Simon is a Director of Infinitus Holdings, a private equity holding company focussed on the South African mid-market with a range of interests across the consumer, industrial and financial services sectors.
Simon has almost 15 years’ of deal-making experience spanning transaction services, corporate finance and private equity in the UK and South Africa. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Politics, and is a Chartered Accountant, having gained his qualification through KPMG in London in 2005. Subsequent to KPMG, he spent four and a half years in Investment Banking at Canaccord Genuity (formerly Hawkpoint Partners) in London, advising on mid-cap and private equity deals. Simon’s broad transaction experience covers equity and debt capital raisings, M&A, corporate restructurings and BEE deals across multiple sectors. Simon is a member of the Boards of Vital Health Foods, Wellness Warehouse, TrenStar and True Health Holdings. Outside of work he is a passionate cyclist and open water swimmer – past achievements include cycling unassisted from Cairo to Cape Town and swimming the Straits of Gibraltar.
